NEW ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES IN THE JESENÍKY
To increase the accommodation facilities in the area of the Hrubý Jeseník, four new boarding-houses with the overall accommodation potential of 40 beds were established with the subsidy provided by the Regional Operational Programme Moravia-Silesia. The boarding-houses are suitable for disabled persons, with 8 barrier-free beds. Each boarding-house is divided into 6 separate, luxuriously furnished suites, each with an electric hearth, beautiful interior design, kitchen, TV-set and welfare premises.
This comfortable accommodation lies in close vicinity of the hotel complex Avalanche which offers various sports and cultural activities, including a skipark with a 4-chair lift, ski rental and ski school, a skating rink and skate rental. In the summer, you can rent a bike and go for a trip to the surrounding tourist destinations – Praděd, Karlova Studánka, Slezská Harta, Sovinec, etc. – using cycling tracks that lead also near the new accommodation facilities. After spending your day actively, you can spend an evening in the wine cellar and taste excellent Moravian as well as other wines, taste delicious specialties of our chef, or have fun playing bowling, darts, billiards, etc. If you want to relax, you can go to the salt cave or visit the relax center with a swimming pool, sauna and other fitness facilities. Location
The boarding-houses are located in the area of the Hrubý Jeseník mountains near the village of Dolní Moravice, on road No. 445 from Rýmařov to Karlova Studánka. Its altitude is 610 m and it is some 10 km from the highest mountain of Moravia and Silesia - Praděd (1492 m a.s.l.), which belongs to the most attractive centers.
There are several national nature reserves in the area and the mountains offer excellent conditions for all kinds of skiers, snowboarders, but also for the lovers of hiking and cycling. A number of caves, cascades, waterfalls, splendid skiing conditions and marvellous nature of the Jeseníky mountains invite crowds of tourists throughout the year.
